Welcome to Technology Integration and 21st Century Skills Overview
Technology Integration and 21st Century Skills Workshop is a 15 hour workshop for educators that addresses the growing need to properly prepare students for the world of 21st Century. We know that students learn in varied ways, that connections to real world issues motivates and excites learners, and in addition to core content and standards students need to be taught new skills. The Partnership for 21st Century Learning provides us with a framework for 21st Century Skills: Learning and Innovation, Communication and Collaboration, and Life and Career skills.
This is the framework from which we will explore teaching strategies, identify useful resources and develop our own paradigm for addressing these 21st Century Skills and Standards.
